Nepali PUBG Mobile Team "Hor E-Sports" Departs for World Cup in Saudi Arabia
Kathmandu – The Nepal E-Sports Association (NESAN) bid farewell to the national PUBG Mobile team, Hor E-Sports, on Monday as they departed for the E-Sports World Cup in Saudi Arabia. The team was honored at a ceremony organized by the National Sports Council (NSC), where officials expressed high hopes for their performance in the prestigious tournament.
Official Send-Off and Encouragement
NSC Member Secretary Tanklal Ghising and NESAN President Anjan Dhakal extended their best wishes to the players and support staff. Ghising highlighted Nepal’s growing potential in e-sports, stating, "Nepal has shown remarkable promise in recent times. We believe the team will make the country proud and return victorious." Dhakal assured full support for the team’s international campaign.
Team Composition and Tournament Details
The Hor E-Sports squad, which qualified as the sole representative from Nepal, includes:

The tournament, featuring a prize pool of approximately NPR 41 crore, will run from July 25 to August 23 in Saudi Arabia. The winning team will take home around NPR 7 crore.
Road to the World Cup
Hor E-Sports secured their spot after finishing second in the PUBG Mobile Super League (Central & South Asia) held in Kazakhstan last month. Their consistent performance has raised expectations for a strong showing at the global event.
