Kathmandu—Young cricketer Sushil Rawal, who played a pivotal role in Nepal’s victory at the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup, has been awarded financial support of Rs. 1 lakh by Rupsee Holidays Pvt. Ltd.

During a ceremony held in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Managing Director Ramesh Parajuli of Rupsee Holidays handed over the cheque to Rawal through Roshan Singh, Vice President of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

A few days prior, cricketer Rawal had taken to social media to express that instead of traditional garlands and felicitations, he needed financial assistance for advanced training in India. Responding to his appeal, Rupsee Holidays announced the Rs. 1 lakh support.

While handing over the cheque, MD Parajuli stated, "It is an honor for us to contribute to Nepali cricket." He further added, "As Rawal mentioned, players now need direct support for skill and career development rather than just symbolic recognition."
