Govt at work to intensify development, good governance: PM Oli

Damak, April 12: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the government of two large parties in the country is making headway to development and good governance. The country has witnessed stability, he said, adding that the rule of law would be strengthened.
Also the Chairman of the CPN UML, PM Oli said it while addressing a public awareness assembly organized by the party at Damak, Jhapa today. He said the unruly elements could neither enter nor sustain in politics. Politics is not a stunt, he reminded.
Indicating to Durga Prasai's unruly activities, PM Oli said it was not good to be swayed after anyone involved in banking fraud and default. "Such elements were exposed in the March 28 incidents at Tinkune, Kathmandu," PM Oli said, ruling out the possibility of restoration of monarchy, the system already abolished by the Nepali people.
He also recounted those difficult days when some sections within the party were acting against UML. Now, the government he is leading is committed to political stability and development.
According to the PM, development works and mega projects would be expedited. The policy and programmes would be launched in a new way to modernize agriculture and fostering entrepreneurship.
"Government brought five important laws through ordinance and the one relating to land will also be brought soon," he said. The positive feedback from the private sector to the new laws was commendable, PM Oli reminded.
Chairperson Oli further said the UML would work devotedly to realize 'Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali'. "The country without UML can not be imagined", he asserted.
On a different note, the Chairman viewed the party rank and file needs activism to reach every doorstep in the province with awareness campaign.
He called the youths to join the Youth Festival on Loktantra Day in Kathmandu on Baisakh 11.
