CPN (US) Secretariat meeting scheduled for today

Kathmandu, March 10 — The CPN (Unified Socialist) has called a meeting of its Central Secretariat.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday after 11 AM, according to the party’s General Secretary, Ghanashyam Bhusal.

Party leaders have stated that the meeting will focus on discussing the current political situation, the activities of pro-monarchy groups, and upcoming protest programs.

The party is also preparing to announce its protest programs through a press conference on Chaitra 1 (March 14).

Unified Socialist leaders have expressed that the protests are in response to the government and ruling parties' incompetence, which they believe has allowed regressive forces to gain strength.
