PM Oli’s advisor Rimal hits back at MP Shahi over photo controversy

Kathmandu, March 10 — UML leader and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s chief political advisor, Bishnu Rimal, has called Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Whip Gyanendra Shahi incompetent.

In response to the allegations made by Shahi, Rimal posted on Facebook stating, "I have no intention of answering questions from such incompetent people."

Rimal's response came after Shahi accused him of having directed the placement of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's photo at the airport during the welcome of former King Gyanendra on Sunday.

On Facebook, Rimal wrote:

"Thieves of cucumber
Steal cucumbers and eat them,
Afraid of being caught,
They quickly pin the blame on others
And strike out at them!"

He further accused Shahi of spreading disinformation and creating confusion, writing that Shahi had used disinformation to mislead people, especially after being unable to defend himself.

Rimal also claimed that Shahi had edited his post multiple times, as shown by the history of the status being edited 5 times, which proved his confusion.
