PM Oli directed use of Adityanath’s photo at former King's welcome: Gyanendra Shahi

Kathmandu, March 10 — Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) whip Gyanendra Shahi has raised serious allegations about the display of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's photo in the crowd at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) during the welcome of former King Gyanendra Shah on Sunday.
On Monday morning, Shahi wrote on Facebook that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's senior advisor, Bishnu Rimal, had instructed the use of Adityanath's photo.
"In the welcome of the former King yesterday, the photo of Indian Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was put up under the direction of Prime Minister KP Oli, and it was ordered by his chief political advisor Bishnu Rimal," he wrote on Facebook on Monday morning.
"Such acts are being done to influence the welcome program with the Nepali national flag. Shameful!"
Shah also expressed surprise at the party leaders running their agenda and ideology based on foreigners and questioned, "Where are Marx, Lenin, and Mao from?"
The use of Adityanath’s photo during the welcoming ceremony of former King Gyanendra at the airport has sparked widespread discussions and criticism.
