National Assembly postponed until March 17

Kathmandu, March 9 — The National Assembly of Nepal has been adjourned until March 17.
Speaker Narayan Dahal announced after Sunday’s meeting that the next session would be held at 1:15 PM on March 17.
During Sunday’s session, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, representing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, presented the annual report of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission for the fiscal year 2080/81.
Before the meeting was adjourned, members raised issues concerning women and children, violence, rape, teachers’ protests, and the Swargadwari Trust, among others.
Speaker Dahal directed the government to respond to these concerns.
