NEPSE drops slightly by 2.7 points

Kathmandu March 6 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased slightly today.
The index fell by 2.7 points, closing at 2818.43 points, marking a continuation of the decline that began on Monday.
Today, the market saw a total trading volume of NPR 10.1 billion.
Out of the 243 listed companies, the share prices of 99 companies rose, while 132 companies saw their share prices drop, and 12 companies' stock prices remained unchanged.
Notably, shares of Bhugol Energy and Guardian Life Insurance hit a positive circuit breaker today.
The largest drop in value was seen in the Nabil Bank Debenture.
In terms of market sector performance, four groups, including Development Banks, saw their indices rise, while nine other groups experienced a decline.
In terms of trading volume, Himalayan Re-Insurance and Nepal Re-Insurance topped the list, with both companies surpassing NPR 1 billion in trading value.
Guardian Life Insurance led in terms of the number of transactions.
