Gas industries call off protest

Kathmandu, March 4 — Gas industries have called off their protest after reaching a five-point agreement.

The agreement was signed on Tuesday at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, with the presence of Secretary Govinda Bahadur Kaki and officials from the Nepal LP Gas Industry Association.

As part of the agreement, the price of gas per cylinder will be increased by NPR 12.75 for businesses.
