Paras Shah’s health improves, moved to general ward

Kathmandu, March 4 — Former Crown Prince Paras Shah, who was receiving treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali after suffering a heart attack, has shown improvement in his health.

Hospital spokesperson Ajay Mishra informed Ratopati that Paras Shah's condition has improved, and he was transferred to a private ward on Tuesday.

Mishra mentioned, "His condition has significantly improved. He has now been moved to a private ward."

Since he has experienced repeated heart attacks, Paras is being closely monitored by his medical team and will remain in the hospital for a few more days for treatment.

Dr. Yadav Bhatta is leading the team treating Paras.

He was admitted to Norvic on Sunday night after the heart attack, and a stent was immediately placed in his heart.

Following that, he was under ICU care until being moved to the ward on Tuesday.

This is Paras Shah's fourth heart attack.

He previously suffered one in January 2019, for which he was also treated at Norvic.

Earlier, he had heart attacks while in Thailand and at another time as well.
