Motorcycle collision in Hetauda claims life of elderly pedestrian

Makwanpur, February 27 — A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorcycle near Sallaghari, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-6.
The deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Kamal Bahadur Bohara.
According to the District Police Office, the elderly man succumbed to his injuries this morning while undergoing treatment after the accident.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when a motorcycle with the registration number Na 5 Ha 1876, traveling from Ramnagar toward Hattilet, hit pedestrian Bohara.
After being seriously injured in the accident, Bohara was initially treated at Hetauda Hospital and then transferred to Bharatpur's New Medical College in Chitwan for further treatment.
He passed away during treatment this morning, as confirmed by the Makwanpur District Police Office.
Following the accident, the motorcycle rider, Bidur Sapkota, fled the scene, and the police have stated that they are searching for him.
