NEPSE announces vacancy for CEO position

Kathmandu, February 26 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has announced a vacancy for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is now accepting applications.

A public notice was issued on Wednesday inviting applications for the CEO role.

The vacant CEO position at NEPSE will be filled through an open competitive process.

Nepali citizens interested in the position are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible, applicants must have a Master's degree in one of the following fields—Economics, Commerce, Finance, Management, Information Technology, or Law—or hold a Chartered Accountancy qualification from a recognized institution.

Candidates should be between the ages of 30 and 65.

Applications must be submitted by Falgun 18 (March 2), and a fee of NPR 7,500 will be required.

The notice specifies that applicants should have at least 7 years of experience in senior managerial roles within the capital markets, financial sector, or management, with a total of at least 15 years of work experience.

Additionally, candidates who have been convicted of crimes related to corruption, money laundering, human trafficking, drug trafficking, the trade of antiquities, or wildlife protection violations will not be eligible for the CEO position.
