Gold price up by NPR 500 per tola

Kathmandu, February 24 — The price of gold increased again in the Nepali market on Monday.

Following a rise of 300 rupees per tola (11.66 grams) on Sunday, the price of hallmark gold went up by an additional 500 rupees on Monday.

As of Monday, the price of hallmark gold is set at 170,800 rupees per tola.

The previous day, it was 170,300 rupees per tola, and last Friday, the price had been 170,000 rupees per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver also saw an increase on Monday.

After being priced at 1,970 rupees per tola on Sunday, the price rose to 1,985 rupees per tola on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association statement.
