Gold price drops by NPR 1,000 per tola

Kathmandu, February 21 — The price of gold has decreased by Rs. 1,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the Nepali market on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association , the price of hallmarked gold, which had reached Rs. 171,000 per tola  the previous day, has dropped to Rs. 170,000 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver on Friday is Rs. 1,990 per tola, down from Rs. 1,995 per tola on Thursday.
