Dang accident update: 3 seriously injured, referred to Nepalgunj

Butwal, February 19 — Three individuals who were injured in a bus accident in Dang have been referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment.

The remaining 10 passengers were discharged after receiving basic treatment, according to the District Police Office, Dang.

The accident occurred last night at Twangkhola in Babai Municipality-2, Dang, when the bus traveling from Surkhet to Kathmandu met with an accident.

The bus, with registration number Karnali Province 02-001 Kha-0701, was involved in the crash.

Inspector Khim Bahadur Khadka of the Khilatpur Area Police Office mentioned that the accident took place because the bus lost control due to the rough road.

A police team from the Khilatpur and Hapur police stations carried out the rescue operation.

After treatment at the Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, three injured passengers were referred for further care, while the others were discharged.

There were 55 passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.
