HPV Vaccine Campaign concludes today

Kathmandu, February 18 — The campaign to administer the HPV vaccine against cervical cancer will conclude today, marking the final day of the initiative that began on Magh 22 (February 4), according to the Ministry of Health and Population. 

As of Saturday, the ministry reported that 1.3 million adolescent girls had received the vaccine. 

The campaign provided the vaccine to female students from grades 6 to 10 and girls aged 10 to 14 years through centers at the local level.

The goal of the campaign was to vaccinate 1.7 million girls.
