Kathmandu ranks third most polluted city, Hanoi tops the list

Kathmandu, March 10 — Kathmandu has been ranked as the third most polluted city in the world today.
According to air pollution measurements, the air quality in the Kathmandu Valley has been classified as unhealthy.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) shows Kathmandu's air quality index at 197 today, placing it in third place globally.
Hanoi, Vietnam, tops the list with an AQI of 238, followed by New Delhi, India, with an AQI of 202.
As per the World Health Organization (WHO) air quality standards, an AQI of 50 or below is considered "healthy."
An AQI between 101 and 150 is considered "unhealthy for sensitive groups."
An AQI between 201 and 300 is categorized as "very unhealthy," and an AQI above 300 is deemed "hazardous" according to WHO guidelines.
