Gold price drops by NPR 2,700 per tola

Kathmandu, February 12 — The price of gold in the Nepali market dropped by NPR 2,700 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold decreased compared to Tuesday's rates.

With the price drop, the price of hallmark gold was set at NPR 167,500 per tola on Wednesday. The price had been NPR 170,200 per tola on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver, which was NPR 1,945 per tola on Tuesday, also decreased to NPR 1,930 per tola on Wednesday, as stated by the Federation.
