Shasheela Motors hands over 30 Keyton electric vans for Hetauda-Kathmandu route

Kathmandu, February 5 — A fleet of 30 electric microbuses has been introduced for service on the Hetauda-Kathmandu route, covering key areas including Pathlaiya and Thori.

Shasheela Motors Pvt. Ltd. officially handed over 30 Keyton-brand, 14-seater electric microbuses to Rashtriya Swatantra Multipurpose Business Pvt. Ltd., a group of transport entrepreneurs.  

During the handover ceremony in Pathlaiya, Bara, Santosh Khatiwada, Managing Director of Shasheela Motors, highlighted the company's commitment to ensuring seamless after-sales service.

He stated, "Electric vehicles are not only environmentally friendly but also beneficial for both passengers and businesses." He reaffirmed the company's dedication to supporting entrepreneurs in adopting sustainable transportation solutions.  

Speaking at the event, Rajan Paudel, Mayor of Simara Sub-Metropolitan City, stressed the growing necessity of electric vehicles.

Offering his best wishes to the entrepreneurs, he remarked, "Electric vehicles will enhance the country's energy efficiency and promote eco-friendly transportation, which is crucial for national progress."  

Entrepreneurs confirmed that the service commenced on Monday, prioritizing passenger convenience and high-quality service.

They expressed confidence that electric vehicles will offer long-term benefits to businesses, particularly through significant fuel cost savings.
