Women's T20I Tri-Series: Thailand beat Nepal by 5 runs

Kathmandu, February 4 — Thailand Women triumphed over Nepal Women by 5 runs in a thrilling encounter in the Women's T20I Tri-Series at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur today.
Batting first, Thailand Women posted a modest total of 106/6 in their 20 overs.
Thipatcha Putthawong was the standout performer, contributing both with the bat and ball. She scored 25 runs from 31 balls and took an impressive 4 wickets for just 10 runs in her 4 overs.
In reply, Nepal Women were restricted to 101/8 in their 20 overs.
Despite some resistance from Rubina Chhetry, who top-scored with 26 runs off 30 balls, Nepal couldn’t build partnerships to chase down the target.
Thipatcha Putthawong's exceptional bowling performance was pivotal in breaking key partnerships for Nepal.
Puja Mahato (18) and Kabita Joshi (24) showed some fight, but the chase ultimately fell short, with Nepal needing 6 runs from the last ball but failing to get them.
