Light rain and snow expected in mountain region of three provinces

Kathmandu, February 3 — Light rain and snow are expected in some areas of the Himalayan region in the Sudurpashchim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces today (Monday).
According to the weather forecast section of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light rain in a few places in these three provinces and the hilly areas of Lumbini province.
In other provinces, although there may be some clouds, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear.
The department also mentioned that on February 5, light snow is likely in one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Sudurpashchim, Karnali, Gandaki, Bagmati, and Koshi provinces.
Additionally, partial cloud cover is expected in the hilly regions, and the Terai will mostly remain clear.
