Gold price remains stable; silver price drops

Kathmandu, February 3 — The price of gold has remained stable for the past four days.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold has been fixed at NPR 162,800 per tola (11.66 grams) since Friday.
The Federation stated that the price of hallmark gold, which was set at NPR 160,500 per tola on Thursday, rose to NPR 162,800 per tola on Friday, the last trading day of the week.
Similarly, the price remained the same on Saturday, and the price continued at NPR 162,800 per tola on Sunday and Monday as well.
The Federation also reported a decrease in the price of silver.
On Sunday, silver was priced at NPR 1,910 per tola, but it dropped to NPR 1,895 per tola on Monday, a decrease of NPR 15 per tola.
