Kathmandu Valley struggles with persistent air pollution (photos)
Kathmandu, February 2 — Although the sun is shining during the day in the Kathmandu Valley, there has been no improvement in the air pollution levels.
Due to climate change, the absence of winter rainfall has resulted in an increase of dust particles and vehicle emissions in the air.
Additionally, the unregulated burning of waste has further contributed to the pollution of the valley's skies.
