House of Representatives' first meeting disrupted by RSP MPs
Kathmandu, January 31 — The first meeting of the Fifth Session of the House of Representatives began on Friday.
However, the meeting was disrupted as soon as it started when the Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) stood up from their seats.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire urged the RSP MPs to return to their seats to create a conducive environment for the continuation of the meeting.
He reminded them that the agenda for the session allowed MPs to speak on a party basis and encouraged them to express their views accordingly.
