Kathmandu, January 19 — Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has hinted at his potential retirement from cricket through a post on his Facebook page.
In the post, Lamichhane expressed deep gratitude towards the people of Nepal for their unwavering support throughout his career.
He wrote, "Thank you, everyone, for everything. This country and the incredible people of this beautiful nation have always stood by me, offering unwavering support through every step of my journey. Your love and encouragement mean the world to me and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Grateful beyond words."
While Lamichhane did not explicitly announce his retirement, his emotional message has led many to speculate that the bowler might be considering stepping away from international cricket.

Lamichhane was initially convicted of raping an 18-year-old woman in a Kathmandu hotel in 2022. However, his conviction was later overturned on appeal.
