Activist Ashika Tamang arrested

Kathmandu, January 15 — Actress and activist Ashika Tamang has been arrested.

Nepal Police took her into custody on Wednesday afternoon from Swoyambhu.

According to SSP Basanta Rajaure of the Kathmandu District Police Range, Tamang was arrested on charges of misconduct.

She has been taken to the Gaushala Police Circle for further investigation.
