Attorney General Badal submits annual report to President

Kathmandu, January 12 — Attorney General Ramesh Badal has presented the annual report to the President.

On Sunday, he submitted the report for the fiscal year 2080/81 at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.

The President's Office informed through a press release that Badal submitted the report in accordance with Article 159 of the Constitution.

During the occasion, Attorney General Badal shared that his office handled a total of 14,710 cases, petitions, and writs, including arguments and defenses presented at the Supreme Court.

Of these, 3,700 cases were resolved. He also stated that the success rate of the government’s side in the resolved cases stood at 36.84%.
