Law Minister prepares land for vegetable cultivation

Lalitpur – Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sher Bahadur Tamang, has prepared a land plot at his official quarters for vegetable cultivation this morning. 
His spouse Usha Kala Rai, who is a lawmaker from Province no 1, was also seen helping her husband in preparing the kitchen garden. 

Party cadres, police personnel and media persons were present there to see the Minister operate the power tiller as well as to click his photo. 

On the occasion, Minister Tamang directed the staffs working in the quarter to grow vegetables enough for all people residing in his quarter. 

He said that he prepared the land for vegetable cultivation to stop the trend of importing food stuffs while keeping own land barren. 

Minister Tamang said, "There should be competition among all ministers to produce vegetables." He also stressed that initiative should be taken strictly to implement the legal provision of not keeping the land barren.
