PM Oli visits former President Bhandari's residence

Kathmandu, January 2 — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former President Bidya Devi Bhandari have met.

Prime Minister Oli visited the residence of former President Bhandari in Budhanilkantha on Thursday to meet her.

During the meeting, which lasted about two hours, discussions took place on the latest political activities of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) and contemporary issues, according to Bhandari's private secretariat.

Earlier, after news emerged about the deteriorating relationship between Oli and Bhandari, with reports suggesting that they were not even speaking to each other, Oli visited Bhandari to meet her at her residence.

Previously, after Oli was appointed as Prime Minister, he had visited former President Bhandari's residence in Chapali.
