UML Secretariat approves political report for CC meeting
Kathmandu, January 2 — The political report to be presented at the Central Committee meeting of CPN (UML) has been approved by the party’s Secretariat.
The Secretariat meeting held on Thursday ratified the report, which will be presented by party Chair KP Sharma Oli.
The Central Committee meeting of UML will be held on January 5 and 6. Key topics of the political report were discussed during the Secretariat meeting, according to Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali.
He added that after necessary discussions, the report was approved and will now be presented by Chairman and Prime Minister Oli at the upcoming Central Committee meeting.
The political report covers a detailed analysis of the country’s current political issues. It also explores the need for a new collaboration between UML and the Nepali Congress.
Additionally, the report includes a review of the government's performance over the past six months and highlights tasks the government must address in the coming days.
It also discusses how the party should progress amid national and international developments.
