Maoist Center calls office-bearers' meeting

Kathmandu, December 29 — The CPN (Maoist Centre) has called for a meeting of its office bearers.

The informal meeting is aimed at preparations for the upcoming Standing Committee and Central Committee meetings, according to the party's Chief Secretary, Shriram Dhakal.

Dhakal informed that the meeting will be held at 3:00 PM today at Chairman Prachanda's residence in Khumaltar.

"This meeting is being called with the available office bearers in the Kathmandu Valley. The focus will be on current political issues and preparations for the Standing Committee and Central Committee meetings," Dhakal told Ratopati.

Earlier, the Standing Committee meeting held on December 13 had decided to call the Standing Committee meeting from January 2 to 4 and the Central Committee meeting from January 5 onwards.
