Media House Promotion Committee formed

Morang – The Media House Promotion Committee has been formed for the promotion of media houses based in Pathari Shanischare, Morang. 

Santosh Rai has been named as the coordinator of the Media House Promotion Committee while Mohan Bhattarai is the secretary. 
The committee said that Pathari Shanischare Municipality would be supported to draft the media policy stating that strengthening of the media houses was required for the implementation of the Working Journalist Act. 

Five weeklies are being published from Pathari Shanischare while Simrik FM, Pathari FM and Rhythm FM are also being broadcast. Likewise, two online portals are based in Pathari Shanischare Municipality.
