Rs 20 million in assistance to community hospital


Myagdi –A community hospital which is coming into operation in Beni Municipality-10 in Myagdi district has received land plots and physical infrastructure worth Rs 20 million from a family. 


Radha Krishna Sharma, a local resident, announced to donate five ropani of land plot for free to the proposed Raghunath Bhadrakali Memorial Community Hospital in Patlekhet. 


Prior to this, Sharma had supported Rs 10 million in assistance for building construction of the hospital. 
Sharma's son Ramesh announced his commitment at a programme on Sunday in the presence of Province Assembly Member Binod KC and Mayor of Beni Municipality at a programme. 


Hospital building has been constructed with the cost of Rs 3 million collected from the local residents, member of hospital building construction committee Bharat Rakal said. 


During the programme, Sharma urged all to create environment conducive to bring the hospital into operation soon. 
The hospital building constructed two years ago is being used for the purpose of Patlekhet Health Post as the government is yet to issue permission for the operation of hospital. 


Furthermore, Ramesh announced to provide five ropani land plot provided that the government issued a nod to run the community hospital. 
The Sharma family has been providing a huge amount of financial assistance for educational and social causes in the district.
