RSP President Lamichhane's testimony expected in court today

Kathmandu, December 24 — The testimonies of the accused in the embezzlement case related to the savings of Surydarshan Cooperative in Pokhara will continue on Tuesday.

The statement of Chhabilal Joshi was recorded on Monday, and it is expected that statements from RSP President Rabi Lamichhane and others will be taken on Tuesday.

On Monday, the defendants Lamichhane, Joshi, Leela Pachhai, Krishna Bahadur Gurung, and Ram Bahadur Khanal were presented at the Kaski District Court. However, only Joshi's statement was recorded, according to Suraj Adhikari, the court's information officer.

The statement was recorded in the court of District Judge Nitij Rai.

"Only one defendant's statement was taken on Monday, and the statements of the other defendants will begin today," Adhikari said.

"Once all the defendants' statements are completed, the arguments on detention and orders will follow."
