Partial closure of Muglin–Naubise road section for repairs (photos)

Kathmandu, December 23 — Work is in full swing along the Muglin–Naubise road section of the Prithvi Highway, which has been partially closed during the day since Sunday.

The road is being closed for three hours each day between December 22 and 28 for work on cutting rock walls and improving the curves at Pokharebhir and Bishaltar.

To improve the Pokharebhir bend, heavy vehicles heading from Naubise to Gajuri are being stopped at Galchhi-Baireni, while light vehicles are halted at Jarekhet.

Similarly, heavy vehicles from Chitwan heading towards Naubise are being stopped at Chalise, and light vehicles are halted at Ghatbesi.

For the Bishaltar bend improvement, heavy vehicles coming from Muglin to Malekhu are being stopped at Majhimtar, while light vehicles are halted at Charaudi Bazar.

Heavy vehicles coming from Malekhu to Muglin are stopped at Benighat Bazar, and light vehicles are halted at Bishaltar.
