NC president Deuba pays tribute to leader Khadka

 

 

Kathmandu– Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba paid tributes to late NC leader Khum Bahadur Khadka today. 
Deuba visited leader Khadka's Sanepa residence and offered tributes to his mortal remains. 


NC central member and former Minister leader Khadka passed away on Friday evening, in course of treatment in New Delhi, India. He was 67 years old and suffering from kidney and chest-related ailments. 
His mortal remains were flown in on Saturday evening. A large number of NC leaders and cadres had gathered at his residence since early morning today to bid final goodbye to their leader. 


NC senior leaders Ram Chandra Poudel, Krishna Prasad Sitoula, Bimalendra Nidhi, Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, Dr Shekhar Koirala among others also reached Khadka's residence to pay tributes. The last rites of leader Khadka is taking place later today after keeping his body at the party's central office for those wishing to pay their respects to the late leader, according to NC spokesperson Biswa Prakash Sharma.
