Kirtipur, December 15 — Sudur Paschim Royals has defeated Pokhara Avengers by 5 runs in the Nepal Premier League match held at Kirtipur Stadium today.
Sudur Paschim Royals posted a total of 153/7 in 20 overs, with Aarif Sheikh top-scoring on 42*.
Despite a strong chase from Pokhara Avengers, who reached 148 in 19.4 overs, the Royals held on to win by 5 runs.
Scott Kuggeleijn was the star with the ball, taking 5 wickets for 18 runs.
Pokhara’s Andries Gous made 36, but the team fell short of the target.
