NPL: Biratnagar Kings defeat Chitwan Rhinos by 51 runs

Kathmandu, December 13 — Biratnagar Kings has defeated Chitwan Rhinos by 51 runs in the NPL match held at Kirtipur Stadium today.

Biratnagar Kings set a target of 182 runs, posting 181/5 in their allotted 20 overs against Chitwan Rhinos.

Despite a strong partnership from Basir Ahamad (68 not out) and Rajesh Pulami (33 not out), the Kings lost key wickets early in their innings.

Martin Guptill (45) and Dipak Bohara (4) were dismissed cheaply, but the middle order boosted the total to a challenging score.

In response, Chitwan Rhinos fell short, reaching 130/6 in 20 overs.

Amar Routela top-scored with 42, but key wickets from Sandeep Lamichhane (2), Chris Sole (1), and Basir Ahamad (1) sealed the win for the Kings.

Chitwan's chase was hindered by early wickets and tight bowling.
