Student found dead at Gaushala

Kathmandu, December 13 — A student has been found dead in a forest near Ram Mandir in Gaushala, Kathmandu.

Manisha Mijar, a 12th grade student at Pentagon College in Tinkune, was found dead.

Her body has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem, SP Nawaraj Adhikari of the District Police Range, Kathmandu told Ratopati.

The police have recovered a bottle of poison found with the body of 20-year-old Mijar, originally from Shakharapur Municipality-5 and currently residing in Shantinagar with her family.

The family had filed a complaint with the Baneshwor police station on Sunday, saying that she was missing.

A 'suicide note' was also found at the scene.

In the suicide note, she wrote, 'I don't want to live, I have failed in everything.'

The one-page long note further reads, 'If anyone sees me alive, don't try to save me, let me die.'
