Nepal Premier League: Karnali Yaks post 128 against Lumbini Lions

Kirtipur, December 13 — Karnali Yaks put up a total of 128/8 after being put in to bat by Lumbini Lions in the Nepal Premier League match held at Kirtipur Stadium.

Openers Babar Hayat (20) and Dev Khanal (3) were dismissed early, and despite a brief recovery from William Bosisto (44) and Arjun Gharti (25), the Yaks struggled to build partnerships.

The tail end failed to add significant runs, with Sompal Kami (7) and Nandan Yadav (0) falling in the latter stages, leaving Karnali to finish at 128/8 after 20 overs.

Bosisto's aggressive 44 off 30 balls was the standout performance for Karnali, as he hit three boundaries and three sixes.

However, the Yaks’ batting line-up faltered under pressure, with several players failing to convert starts into big scores.

Lumbini Lions' bowlers were in excellent form, led by Bikash Aagri, who claimed 3 wickets for 14 runs from just 2 overs.

Tilak Bhandari (2/23) and Saad Bin Zafar (1/29) were also effective with the ball, while Ramon Simmonds (1/40) and Rohit Paudel (1/6) contributed.
