In pictures: Super Over thrill between Biratnagar Kings and Pokhara Avengers

Kathmandu, December 12 — Pokhara Avengers defeated Biratnagar Kings in the first Super Over of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Chasing a target of 19 runs in the Super Over, Biratnagar Kings could only manage 5 runs. Pokhara’s Raymon Reifer became the hero of the match, scoring a crucial 17 runs off just 5 balls, including two sixes.

Earlier, in the Super Over, Biratnagar captain Sandeep Lamichhane bowled first.

In his opening two deliveries, Raymon Reifer hit two sixes, and in the fourth ball, he struck a four. Pokhara Avengers accumulated 18 runs in their Super Over.

The match had previously ended in a tie, with Pokhara Avengers chasing a target of 140.

They finished their 20 overs with a total of 139/6, leveling the scores with Biratnagar Kings.
