Nepal Premier League: Biratnagar Kings set target of 140 runs against Pokhara Avengers
Kirtipur, December 12 — Biratnagar Kings posted a total of 139/7 in their 20 overs against Pokhara Avengers in the ongoing Nepal Premier League match at Kirtipur Stadium.
Batting first, Biratnagar saw key contributions from Scott Edwards (45 off 35 balls) and Lokesh Bam (26 off 16 balls), while Basir Ahamad remained unbeaten on 21 off 20 balls.
However, they struggled with regular wickets falling, including early departures of Martin Guptill (5) and Naren Bhatta (4).
The team’s batting was also curtailed by tight bowling from Pokhara, with Sagar Dhakal (2/15) and Raymon Reifer (2/33) leading the charge.
