Nepal Premier League: Janakpur Bolts defeat Lumbini Lions by 1 run

Kirtipur, December 8 – In a nail-biting finish, the Janakpur Bolts edged past the Lumbini Lions by just one run in a thrilling Nepal Premier League (NPL) match at Kirtipur.

Janakpur Bolts posted a total of 136 at the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Despite a strong performance by captain Anil Sah, who scored 45 runs from 39 balls, the Bolts struggled to build partnerships.

The Lumbini Lions fell just short, finishing with 135 at the loss of 8 wickets. Rohit Paudel top-scored for the Lions with 35 runs off 38 balls, while Tom Moores made 31 off 23 balls.

However, a brilliant bowling display by the Bolts, especially Harsh Thaker, who took 5 wickets for 23 runs, restricted the Lions' chase.
