Dhangadhi mayor Hamal diagnosed with brain stroke, referred to Delhi

Dhangadhi, December 7 — Mayor Gopal Hamal of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City has been diagnosed with a brain stroke.

After experiencing symptoms on Friday night, he was immediately admitted to Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi.

As the hospital was unable to provide the required treatment, he has been referred to a hospital in Delhi for further care.

Dr. Mohan Saud, the Medical Director of the hospital, confirmed that Mayor Hamal's condition is a cerebellum infarction, commonly known as a stroke.

Despite the diagnosis, Dr. Saud assured that the Mayor's condition is not life-threatening.
