NPL: Karnali Yaks secure first win; beats Chitwan Rhinos by 6-wicket

Kathmandu, December 6 — Karnali Yaks have secured their first win in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament.

On Friday, in their first match, Karnali Yaks defeated Chitwan Rhinos by 6 wickets.

This victory marks Karnali Yaks' first win, while it is the first loss for Chitwan Rhinos.

The match took place at the International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, where Chitwan Rhinos, after losing the toss and being asked to bat, posted a total of 130/7 in their 20 overs.

In reply, Karnali Yaks chased down the target of 131 in 19.5 overs, losing 4 wickets.

Shikhar Dhawan was the standout batsman for Karnali Yaks, contributing 45 runs.

Karnali Yaks' strong batting performance and Chitwan Rhinos' weak middle-order collapse helped Karnali Yaks comfortably secure the win.
