China announces NPR 9 billion grant assistance for Nepal

Kathmandu, December 3 — China has announced a grant assistance of NPR 9 billion for Nepal.

During a meeting on Tuesday between Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Xi declared that China would provide 9 billion in grant assistance to Nepal.

In the same meeting, President Xi expressed China's strong commitment to supporting Nepal's development and prosperity.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli, who is on a visit to China, held discussions with President Xi and Chinese counterpart Li.

Oli is scheduled to return to Nepal on December 5th.
