Under-19 Asia Cup: Afghanistan sets target of 124 to Nepal
Sharjah, December 3 — Afghanistan Under-19s set a target of 124 runs against Nepal Under-19s in Under-19s Asia Cup tournament held in Sharjah.
Afghanistan, opting to bat first, were dismissed for just 123 runs in 35.4 overs.
Faisal Shinozada was the top scorer for Afghanistan, making 52 runs. However, the Nepali bowlers were exceptional, with Santosh Yadav (3/22) and Unish Thakuri (3/24) leading the charge.
Hemant Dhami (2/37) and Abhisekh Tiwari (2/17) also delivered crucial performances, ensuring that Afghanistan’s total remained modest.
Nepal now requires 124 runs to win the match.
