DPM Singh assigned responsibility of acting PM File

Kathmandu, December 2 — President Ram Chandra Poudel has assigned the responsibility of acting Prime Minister to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh.

According to a statement issued by the President’s Office, the President has designated Singh to handle daily administrative duties in the absence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who left for a formal visit to China on Monday. This decision is in accordance with the Constitution.

Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return to Nepal on December 5 after completing his visit to China.
