UML candidate emerges victorious in Molung-5

Kathmandu, December 1 — In Molung Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 of Okhaldhunga district, the UML candidate has been elected.

UML candidate Ganga Bahadur Tamang defeated Nepali Congress candidate Ghanashyam Dahal to win. However, the election officer has stated that the official declaration is still pending.

Out of more than 1,200 eligible voters in the ward, only 768 votes were cast.
