PM Oli calls cabinet meeting ahead of China visit

Kathmandu, December 1 — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a Cabinet meeting. The meeting has been convened in light of the upcoming visit to China.
A minister informed that the meeting is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 5 PM at Baluwatar. The discussion will focus on the Prime Minister's visit to China and the agenda that Nepal has set for the trip.
During the visit, it is expected that agreements related to the implementation of Chinese projects under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will be signed.
Nepal has prepared a proposal for the 'BRI Cooperation Framework' and is set to present it to China regarding the implementation agreements.
Prime Minister Oli will lead an 87-member Nepali delegation to Beijing on Monday. The delegation is scheduled to complete a four-day visit and return to Nepal on the December 5.
